You are the love of my life

Hillsong United
You Are - Duet With Ron Kenoly lyrics

Chorus:
You are the love of my life
You are the hope that I cling to
You mean, more than this world to me

I wouldn't trade You for silver or gold
I wouldn't trade You for riches untold
You are, You are my everything

Verse:
I wouldn't take one step without You
I could never go on
I couldn't live one day without You
I don't have the strength
To make it on my own

Bridge:
Until the world stops turning
Until the stars fade from the sky
Until the sun starts smiling
I need You in my life
And here's the reason why

His Life For Mine

His Life For Mine

His heart was broken, mine was mended
He became sin, now I am clean.
The cross he carried bore my burden.
The nails that held him set me free.

Chorus:
His life for mine, his life for mine
How could it ever be?
That he would die, God's son would die
To save a wretch like me
What love divine, he gave his life for mine.

His scars of suffering brought me healing
He spilled his blood to fill my soul.
His crown of thorns made me royalty
His sorrow gave me joy untold

Chorus:
His life for mine, his life for mine
(From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/t/talley-trio-lyrics/his-life-for-mine-lyrics.html)
How could it ever be?
That he would die, God's son would die
To save a wretch like me
What love divine, he gave his life for mine.

Bridge:
He was despised and rejected, stripped of his garments and oppressed
I am loved and accepted and I wear a robe of righteousness

Chorus:
His life for mine, his life for mine
How could it ever be?
That he would die, God's son would die
To save a wretch like me
What love divine, he gave his life for mine.

So I can remember when I went where, I will list out my travels.

1999 Seoul, Korea.  Visited for 3 days on the way home.

2000 Nepal/Tibet.  Primarily Tibet, but went to Nepal early and spent 3-4 days there, mostly being near partner who went into the hospital for dehydration after eating local oily food.  Tibet mission included covert tract distribution, prayer visiting of Potala Palace.  Best part was after a horse ride to a tiny village, where we stayed in the homes of locals.  Two girls spent time with us and showed us a site to see a sunset from; I shared a tiny bit about God with her through a phrase book/dictionary.

2000 Guatemala.  Co-lead a team, outreach in streets and at orphanages; partnered with Verbo Church.
Following this,  I traveled from Guatemala to Costa Rica by bus, briefly stopping in each country along the way;
El Salvador and Costa Rica, I stayed with families and in
Nicaragua I stayed at an orphanage.
Ecuador, visited a family in Quito, saw the actual equator line, and went to a lowlands village.  Also hiked on Cotopaxi volcano for a few hours.  From here I flew to Lima, Peru and then up to Aguas Calientes, Peru, right near the Machu Picchu ruins.  From here I took a bus to
the capitol of Bolivia.  Got discretely robbed, got to airport and flew to Santa Cruz - ready to be done and 'safe'!

late 2000, Santa Cruz, Bolivia - YWAM DTS, school of 25 with students from surrounding areas plus USA, New Zealand and 5 from Switzerland
2 months, Sao Paolo, Brazil - part of DTS - some street outreach, children's ministry.

2001 Bali & Java, Indonesia: Joined team and ministered at orphanages, churches and small groups.

Host here was Daniel Thocker Lama

Returned home and began pursuing and courting Momma-Samantha.

New pregnancy, tough month

In January 2012, we have moved out of our big green house into the little apartment.  Just in time too – Momma is sick from being pregnant.  The baby is 5 weeks old and 1 inch long!    And already he is changing her life.  She is on the couch and we are all trying to keep life going without her.  It is not going too smoothly so far.

This week and weekend Wisdom is struggling to give up nursing.  But at other times, he is the smiling adventurer and tinkerer.  We set up a outdoor play-yard for him and he spent 2 hours on Saturday playing with the tractor, sled, a hammer and some sticks, while Daddy was working with firewood.
Inside, he decided to run for the bathroom a couple of times – without ever being told to or trained!
He went to the stores with Daddy and was a little friend, smiling at others and helping to put items on the checkout stand.

We’re all learning to adapt to our new life – and three transitions at once is a lot!   We’ve moved houses, and the apartment requires more hands-on work (such as dishes)..   Momma is pregnant and sick, and Wisdom can’t nurse all the time because it makes Momma even weaker..   and so everyone has more work to do.   Thankfully, our church family is starting to bring us meals.
